Ingredients

  • 1 kg turkey mince

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp white pepper

  • ½ tsp mustard paste

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • 1½ tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes

  • ⅙ cup coriander leaves

  • 2-3 tbsp green chilies (small hot ones)

  • ¼ cup oil for frying

Directions

  • Mix all the ingredients together and let marinate in the fridge for at least an hour.
  • Make equal-sized meatballs. This recipe makes about 40 meatballs.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the meatballs on medium heat until cooked through and golden from all sides.
  • You can add these meatballs to a variety of dishes like Kofta Pulao, Spaghetti & Meatballs, or a Meatball Sandwich. You could also serve as an appetiser.

Notes

  • Wet your hands slightly when making the meatballs so that the meat doesn’t stick to your hands.
  • You can cool and freeze meatballs after frying.
