1 kg fine beef mince (lean)
3 large tomatoes (chopped)
2 large capsicums (chopped)
3 medium onions (thinly sliced)
2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
1 tsp salt
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp black pepper powder
coriander leaves to garnish
Directions
- Heat oil and fry 1 onion till golden brown.
- Add the mince and stir well on high flame (till it evens out in colour).
- Reduce flame to low and add remaining raw onions, ginger & garlic paste, and spices.
- Cover and leave for 30 minutes (till onions are soft).
- Stir on high flame to dry water, if any.
- Add tomatoes, cover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes (till tomatoes are cooked).
- Stir on high flame to dry water, if any.
- Add capsicums, cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
- Turn off flame and add coriander leaves.
Notes
- You can replace the capsicums with potatoes or peas.
