Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast (cut in strips)

  • 6 prawns (chopped)

  • 1 cup bean sprouts (chopped)

  • ¼ cup cabbage (shredded)

  • ½ carrot (finely chopped)

  • ¼ cup coriander leaves (chopped)

  • 8-10 cups chicken stock

  • 1 egg

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp soya sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup chilli sauce

  • ½ cup vinegar

  • ¼ cup cornflour

  • ½ cup tofu

  • ¼ cup mushrooms

Directions

  • Marinate the chicken and prawns with ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper, ¼ tsp sugar, 1 tsp cornflour for half an hour.
  • Boil stock and add prawns, tofu and chicken. Boil for a few minutes (about 10-15 minutes).
  • Add all the vegetables and seasoning. Cook for another 20 minutes.
  • Add dissolved cornflour.
  • Add beaten egg and 1 tbsp oil for glaze.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
