My favourite soup! You can never go wrong with Hot & Sour!

1 chicken breast (cut in strips)
6 prawns (chopped)
1 cup bean sprouts (chopped)
¼ cup cabbage (shredded)
½ carrot (finely chopped)
¼ cup coriander leaves (chopped)
8-10 cups chicken stock
1 egg
1½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp soya sauce
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup chilli sauce
½ cup vinegar
¼ cup cornflour
½ cup tofu
¼ cup mushrooms
Directions
- Marinate the chicken and prawns with ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp pepper, ¼ tsp sugar, 1 tsp cornflour for half an hour.
- Boil stock and add prawns, tofu and chicken. Boil for a few minutes (about 10-15 minutes).
- Add all the vegetables and seasoning. Cook for another 20 minutes.
- Add dissolved cornflour.
- Add beaten egg and 1 tbsp oil for glaze.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
