2 cups plain flour
1 tbsp dry active yeast
2 tsp ghee/butter
½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp yogurt
warm water
garlic (finely chopped)
fresh mint (chopped)
fresh coriander (chopped)
sesame seeds
Directions
- Mix together the dry ingredients.
- Add water and yogurt and kneed to form a dough. The dough should be smooth and sticky, but not wet.
- Leave the dough for 3-4 hours (proof periodically).
- Pre-heat oven to 180C.
- Make dough balls and roll into ¼” thick rotis.
- Top with ghee/butter, garlic, mint and coriander leaves, and sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20 minutes or till done.
