This sauce goes great with grilled chicken fillet, beef steak, and even pasta.

Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 16 oz fresh brown mushrooms

  • ⅓ cup heavy cream

  • ½ tsp dried parsley

  • ½ tsp oregano

  • salt to taste

  • pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese (grated)

Directions

  • Melt the butter in a medium frying pan.
  • Add garlic and mushrooms. Cook till mushrooms are tender, browned, and all water dries out. This should take roughly 5-6 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, parsley, oregano and seasoning.
  • Increase heat and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat again and simmer until the sauce thickens (roughly 5-6 minutes).
  • Stir in parmesan cheese.
