Ingredients

  • 1 cup boneless chicken (cut in cubes)

  • 2 onions (cut in cubes)

  • 4 tomatoes (cut in cubes)

  • 2 capsicums (cut in cubes)

  • oil for frying

  • Marinade
  • ½ tsp mustard

  • ½ tsp ginger

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • Sauce
  • 4 tomatoes

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp garlic

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • 1 small cinnamon stick (half inch)

Directions

  • Skewers
  • Marinate the chicken in mustard, ginger, chilli powder, pepper, oil, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar. Leave for at least half an hour.
  • Put the chicken, onion, tomato, and capsicums on skewer sticks.
  • Sauce
  • Chop the tomatoes, add remaining ingredients and cook till soft. Blend to make a paste.
  • In a frying pan heat oil, add the tomato puree and fry the skewers till done.
  • Serve with fried rice.
