Ingredients

  • ½ kg chicken mince

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp white pepper

  • ¼ tsp mustard paste

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes

  • 2 ½ tbsp breadcrumbs

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped spring onions

  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions

  • Mix all the ingredients together and let marinate for at least an hour.
  • Make equal-sized meatballs.
  • Heat about 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan. Fry the meatballs on medium heat until cooked through and golden from all sides.
  • You can add these meatballs to a variety of dishes like Kofta Pulao, Spaghetti & Meatballs, or a Meatball Sandwich. You could also serve as an appetiser.

Notes

  • Use mince with high fat content to make for juicier meatballs.
  • Wet your hands slightly when making the meatballs so that the meat doesn’t stick to your hands.
  • Cool and freeze meatballs after half-frying.
