Chicken Jalfrezi

Ingredients

  • ½ kg boneless chicken breast

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 1 tsp ginger (thinly sliced)

  • 2 onions

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • 2 green chillies (cut in strips)

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp mustard

  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp aginomoto (Chinese salt)

  • ½ tsp mixed spice

Directions

  • Cut chicken in strips.
  • Cut onions in cubes.
  • Heat oil and fry ginger and onions.
  • Add chicken and remaining ingredients except aginomoto and mixed spice. Cook till chicken is half done.
  • Add tomatoes and green chilies. Cover and cook till done.
  • When tomatoes are soft and chicken is tender, remove from heat and add mixed spice and aginomoto.
  • Serve with fried rice.
