These are the best home-made beef burgers I’ve had to date. Very simple too, just mix and fry.

1 kg beef mince
1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp cornflour
1 egg
1 large slices of bread (crumbed)
1 medium onion
oil for frying
⅛ cup soy sauce
⅛ cup Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together and make burger patties.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the burgers on low-medium heat slightly covered. When they’re ready, the burgers will be a toasty brown on the top.
- You can garnish burgers with sautéed onions & mushrooms, mustard, ketchup, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, and/or cheese sauce.
