1 kg pomfret
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp soya sauce
½ tsp mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp chili sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp + ½ tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp vinegar
½ cup tomatoes (blended)
cheese to garnish
Directions
- Wash the fish with salt water.
- Make slits and add vinegar and 1/2 tsp salt. Leave for a while.
- Drain and dry with a paper towel.
- Criss cross slits on the top surface of the fish.
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and marinate the fish in it for at least an hour.
- Grease a baking dish and place the fish in it. Bake for half an hour on medium oven or till done.
- Top with grated cheese and grill for a few minutes.
Notes
- I’ve used Pomfret in this recipe but you could use any fish of your liking.
