Photo-worthy Cookies

Don’t you just hate it when no matter how many chips you put in, the cookie just doesn’t look like it has enough?

A little tip for more-presentable-cookies is to save up 1/4 or 1/2 of the chips/morsels your recipes calls for before adding the rest into the dough.

Now you have one of two options:

  • Just before placing the cookie dough into the oven to bake, place 4-5 chips on the top and lightly press it in so it doesn’t fall off as the cookie bakes. This will allow the chips to bake and slightly melt as well.
  • As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven (typically takes 8-11 minutes to bake depending on the size of your cookie), place 4-5 chips on top and lightly press into the cookie. This will be easy to do because when the cookie comes out of the oven it’s still quite soft (but not raw).

Which option do you prefer? Have you tried any of these tips before? Would love to get your feedback! 😃

Happy baking! 🍪🍪🍪
