1 packet spaghetti
¼ cup parmesan cheese
salt to season

¼ kg fine beef mince (lean)
½ medium onion
½ tsp ginger & garlic paste
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp oil
1 cup passata
1 cup canned diced tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Bolognese
- Finely chop the onion.
- Heat oil and fry the onion till translucent.
- Add the mince and stir well on high flame (till it evens out in colour).
- Reduce flame to low and add the ginger & garlic paste and spices.
- Cover and leave for 30 minutes (till onions are soft).
- Stir on high flame to dry water, if any.
- Add the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, passata, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on a gentle simmer for about an hour.
- Assemble
- Boil the spaghetti till al dente and drain.
- Add the spaghetti to the sauce.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and serve.
